As you grow as a human being, as your creation grows, you climb unto new heights, thus gaining a new perspective upon the world around you. These heights are but a mere wall of glass on which you try to keep your balance. Sideways, the uncovered depths of the sea gaze at your fragile figure, waiting to devour you. The waters are up beside you, and cover any other sound, rendering understanding incomprehensible.
It is only after you sometimes voluntarily go back to the silence of the depths when you can start understanding subtleties that were "inaudible at the top". This is where you can, at times, find your "air".
lyrics
Dansez
pe muchia unei mări de sticlă
- un filament – o scară-n îngustime
şi-adânc de sute de metri
dansez pe marginile-i unduitoare
şi jos e fundul mării
miezul pământului
locul în care aş fi
la adăpost de aste înălţimi
fulger învolburat în al meu păr – ştreang
valuri îţi înconjoară miocardul în nisip
şi jos e fundul mării
miezul pământului
locul în care aş fi
la adăpost
În cer e-un cerc – limpezime –
Fântâni de raze curg.
Catharsis!
peretele mării fierbe
iar de pe fund nu se mai văd
bulbucii soarelui
în schimb
încep să se audă
cuvinte ce sus erau
acoperite de valuri
am vrut să fredonăm împreună
dar am glăsuit simultan şi spart
am vrut să fredonăm împreună
am glăsuit simultan şi spart
am vrut să fredonăm împreună
am glăsuit simultan şi spart
am vrut să fredonăm împreună
dar am glăsuit simultan şi spart.
A masterpiece of Folk Metal. You know how I know? When I get goosebumps after listening to a album. Every song is perfection, beautifully crafted. Haunting vocals and violin, blazing guitar solos - it's all here. 10/10! SwordnBoard
NEGURA BUNGET have always been a unique and fascinating band. Epic Romanian folk black metal, shrouded in a dense atmosphere and full of dynamic, organic energy. Although I see "Om" as their unreached masterpiece and neither NEUGURA BUNGET nor Hupogrammos' Dordeduh created such incredible magic again, "Zău" is a worthy final chapet which won't disappoint any fan. Rest in peace! H.L.

A true masterpice. As a mountain guide and a mountain pasionate I must confess, this is the music that helps me connect with the beauty and the roughness of the peaks. bandcamping666
